What sealent for trim distribution block?

It's a 1980 mc1 "pre alpha". Ya after whatvi been through with this boat it wouldn't surprise me that some one painted the anodes. Looks like the previous owner or whoever worked on it just used some kind of sealent and no gasket.

Is this right? Water coolant inlet for motor.

This is that the hose connects to. Looks like a huge rubber seal because the hose is twice as big as the metal fitting? The hose is 2" I believe. And the fitting is 1". And there's a rubber spacer/donut seal that the hose slid over and clamped too. Then the hose is connected connected the power...

    Cracked hull, bottom of boat

I sent it out. It was a small shop. He said it would be about a year to finish to begin with. He's just a 1 man show but he hires help. And his fiberglass helper left on him before he started on it and he did it during the slow season.

So I got my boat back finally, turns out stringers were rotten. One actually separated from the hull. The previous owner had just slapped a new floor over a rotten floor. Motor had a cracked head in the motor and rough truck cam. Swapped a mercruiser cam, remanufactured heads. Had stringers and...
