    Holes in the lower unit *Pics*

    I was just inspecting the lower unit when i found some holes north of the anticav... Can this cause water to get into the lower unit gear lube? If its OK i'll ignore it, but what do i have to do if its not OK?<br /><br /> <br />

    Just tested compression on cylinder #3 that was down from 175 to 75psi a few days ago, after leaving fogging oil in that cylinder for about a week now it tests back to about 180!     Correct prop for 1980 Merc 90HP?

    I am bout to mount my '80 90HP on my boat, the motor did not come with a prop, the guy i bought it from said that he used a 21 pitch prop when he had it on his 18ft boat, but my boat is a 15', and I dont want to over/under power when it comes to the prop.<br /><br />Thanks!

    Low compression?

    Just did a compression test, and the battery wasnt fully cranking the motor... cyl #2 and #4 even with 2 cranks went up to 125... <br /><br />But #3 went only to 45... thats WAY low... and I dont know if its accurate because the battery was too low and fully cranking, but now im freaking out...
