    My own future stupid human trick

    13 foot Broze Bros. Skiff + 2 x 25hp Johnsons = ?????????? Probably won't actually try it, but it sure is tempting. My daughter figures it'll help to weigh down the front with chain. She also thinks the transom will hold.

    Is my 86 Johnson 4hp pumping water?

    How do I know if the impeller is doing it's thing? I ran the motor for the first time in several years and noticed that the head got real warm. Motor calls for 100:1 fuel:oil and I was running 50:1 so I know it wasn't lean.

    Oil injection problem on 95 Seadoo sportster

    When the boat sits up for a while it will leak so much oil in the cylinders it won't spin over. I have to remove the plugs and spin it over (making a huge mess) then clean and replace the plugs. I'm about to disconnect the O.I. and premix my fuel. Any ideas?

    Probably a stupid question but, How do I know if my motor is pumping water? I got it running yesterday and only ran it about half a minute then shut it down. It ran great but I noticed that the head was hot to the touch when I shut it down.

    1975 Evinrude 35hp powerhead on 25hp motor

    I have a 1975 25 hp Evinrude motor on my skiff and a rebuilt 1975 Evinrude 35hp powerhead. Could the higher HP powerhead be used on the smaller motor? Would it be worth the trouble? The 25 runs good but I could use a little more power.
