    Trailer hitch height

    My new drawtight hitch opening is only 11 inches above the ground. It it alright to turn the hitch bar upside down (bend up) to gain height or is this height good enough? My old vehicle had the hitch ball 18 inches above the ground. Thanks for any input.

    Cavitation plate position

    My 50 hp Force on a 15' fiberglass bass boat is slow (hole and top). Could the position of the motor have any effect. Right now the cavitation plate sits about 2" below the bottom and has a plastic foil. How high can I raise it and should I keep the foil?

    Clutch dog repair

    Does anybody have an idea of how expensive the replacement of a clutch dog should be on a 50hp force. Without looking at it the mechanic wants to also replace the gear. He says the parts will be in the $400.00 range. This sounds a little expensive to me. Any input will be appreciated.
