    I have a 1989 90hp crossflow, that i had rebore to .044 over. Does anyone think i should rejet my carbs and how many sizes bigger? Im not sure what i have in it now but I think its still stock.<br /><br />Thanks<br />dave

    question about head damage

    On my 1989 90hp I remove the heads off and noticed some light damage inside the heads on the dom part. They look like light long dent. Should i replace these heads, sand, or just dont worry about it ??<br /><br />thanks<br />Dave

    I have a 89 90hp johnson, and i need to know what bolt size are the holes on the fly wheel. The bolts that i was using seemed to be the wrong size and pulled right out, luckly the treads on the flywheel arn't bad of shape

    took apart second head, need some help

    well i took apart the port side head and notice that there is damage to the top piston and the bottom one seems fine. On my starboard side the bottom piston is the damaged one, could it be that one of my carburators were running lean? which carburator controls what pistons ?? I have a 1989...

    is rebuilting o/b motor worth it

    lost one of my pistons on my 1989 90hp johnson, and im afraid to pull the power head off since the piston mashed up the spark plug. Should i bother pull this thing apart and rebuilding or just start looking for an new outboard. <br /><br />Thanks <br />dave
