    As I have time to check this motor out, yesterday I gave the flywheel a tug hoping it was not seized. I was not and got it around on a compression stroke and was able to muscle it around. Is this typical of this motor or should it be much tighter? I have seen mention of them being low...

    mounting bolt diameter for 250 evinrude v8

    What is the recommended mounting bolt diameter for<br />a 1992 Evinrude 250 V-8? I assume only 4 and is there a special grade of SS for them?<br />Thanks

    1990's johnson 250 hp lifting

    I ahve not yet had the powerhead cover off but was told there is a special lifting device that bolts to the motor? My Yamaha has a lifting lug inside and assumed the same for the Johnson. If it does, can anyone diretc me to where to get it?<br />Thanks

    91-95 250 Johnson questions

    I just picked up a 91-95 (not sure of year exactly) 250 hp V-8 outboard. I am familiar with Yamahas but not OMC's. Can I get a factory harness and binacle style control box that plugs together without splicing etc? I see some other control boxes that list as new style wiring (I assume 96 and up)...
