Recently purchased a used pontoon boat equipped with a 1984 Evinrude 30, model #E30ECRR and OMC single-lever controller. Then engine runs like a champ, but if the controller is adjusted to shift into forward, it won't throw far enough to shift into reverse and vice-versa. The lever moves fine...
