    Sometimes turn key & nothing; sometimes starts

    I have a '73 115hp inline 6 Merc. Sometimes I turn the key it turns over fine. Sometimes I turn the key and nothing, but if I tilt the motor all the way up and back down, it turns over. Would it be a wire grounding out sometimes or something more serious? Thanks

    '73 115hp merc inline 6. The brushes in my trim motor are shot. I can't see any name on the trim motor. Is there more than one, or are they all the same for that motor? Can I just get brushes, or do I have to get the whole motor? Thanks!

    What is the trick to removing trim tab to get to nut to remove lower unit? I have been searching for an hour (internet only hooks up at 26k) and haven't found anything. Thanks
