    Reusing a freeze plug

    I unbolted the riser from the engine but it will not come apart. I have hit it with a hammer as hard as I dare but it is locked together. Can anyone tell me whether heat will loosen where it is frozen together?

    I removed the six five eights nuts and put the throttle in drive. I can seperate the drive about an inch but it wont go any further. Is there something I have forgot or do I use a little elbow grease?

    water at starter housing.

    Can anyone tell me why water would be pouring out of the bottom of the flywheel housing. There is actually water coming right out the bottom of the hole that the starter mounts into. The motor is a 120 horse mercruiser.
