    1968 Evinrude 6 hp hard to start?

    i have an evinrude 6 hp that is hard to start. i just replaced the carb float and put in a new needle and seat kit. i have to pull it 10 to 12 times before it starts and its kinda sluggish. anyone know whats wrong??

    Hey guys im new to this site. Hope yall can help me out. Iv'e got an evinrude 6 hp that runs good in a barrel with the hood off and it runs high rpm's at full throttle in gear, but when i put the hood on it dies down slowly like it has no power and when i take it off it revs back up...
