    vro primer bulb

    rebuilt 1993 200 evinrude. vro bulb is rock hard . is this correct? the primer bulb for the gas to the engine never gets and stays hard yet the engine runs ok. problem is it uses a lot of oil. I am still trying to find to find an air leak in the fuel line. any ideas? :rolleyes:

    idle adjustment setting

    check valve in primer bulb

    The primer bulb needs about 8 or 9 pumps to get firm. after the engine runs for a while the bulb goes soft, the engine never stops. would this be a bad check valve inside the bulb. I am using a lot of oil and the engine smokes a lot . could this be the problem? :eek:

    evinrude 200- excessive smoke

    have a rebuilt 1993 200 evinrude. starts ok but with a lot of smoke, leaned out carbs 1/3 turn,less smoke(don't want to lean too much).if engine is warmed up and I shut off and leave for about an hour engine will restart but boggs when given gas. the bulb is new but never gets hard. takes three...
