    1979 55HP will not turn off!

    As my engine gets older, the more quirks it seems to have. I now have a problem getting the engine to shut off. It starts fine, but will not turn off with the key, I have to choke it to stall. I don't suspect the ignition switch, because the volt meter goes dead (as normal) when I turn the key...
