    120 vs 115

    i was told by a marine mechanic that a 120 is a detuned 140. ok i understand the blocks and such. he said a 115 would walk away from my 120.on my boat!he said its 98 lbs lighter. and more fuel efficient...any ideas on loopers vs cross flow?

    what these #'s mean

    i found these #'s on one of my freeze plugs, by the top cylinder.where does it say that is a 120.i tried the "introduces" thing...but it dosnt make sense.the #'s are 2-oahrjas. theres also these G1521129. whacha think?

    120 case 140 block

    thanks for the help in the past. what i was wondering was if i bought a new 89 140 powerhead, would it fit onto my 89 120 unit? i think i read in a seloc manual that the blocks were the same but different bore/stroke? if it will fit, is it east to do? thanks

    89 - 120 HELP

    i have 89 120 hp will run full throtle in neutral, but as soon as i cut it back ..it dies.it also tries to run if you just click the the key then dies.i found water in the separator,changed it,drained the carbs, pumped fresh fuel through it,changed the plugs, IM AT A TOTAL LOSS, PLEASE HELP ME...
