    save rpm's

    How many rpm's can a 350 mag handle while cruising. Best is 3000 rpm at 23mph for my boat. If gas usage is not considered, what would be a save higher rpm to cruise around without causing any problems later on.

    How do these compare to other bow riders in layout, function ,comfort etc? Like to have 28' bow rider that will cruise in upper 30 mph. others seem to be 25mph or so with 380hp. Hard to find with 425 hp.

    Can someone tell me the timeline on the ssx model boats. Little confused on which replaced which. Years 2008 and up in the 25' to 29' models. Know the 257 and 277 are new for 2013. Any other info appreciated. Thanks.

    Going to Destin and would like to know what new boat dealers or in Destin or close by. Know of Captains Choice and Chap dealer in Ft Walton. Legendary in Destin. Any others? Can't find Sea Ray. Was there last year.

    cobalt worth the money?

    Is a cobalt bow rider that much better than other boats that it would be noticeable? Why do they still use square windshield design? They are nice but are they worth the money?

    need brand and models

    Like the sea ray 270 select or slx. Hard to find within reasonable distance for me. What other boats would be similiar to look for. Interseted in 2007, 2008 or so year models. Know there are nice boats out there, just not sure of model numbers.

    Currently have 26' boat. Would water sports, mostly tubes for now, be any problem with a 28' sport boat such as sea ray 270 slx or chaparral 276 ssx boats?

    If traded 2008 sea ray 240 sundeck with 100 hrs for 2007 regal 2700 with 50 hrs, would this be considered an upgrade? Would like to trade up to newer sport boat over time and wandering if this is a step up being 08 and 07 models. One difference is regal has 496 HO engine vs 350 mag on sea ray...

    Larger boat, why?

    Why do I what, not need, a larger and faster boat? What is it that triggers this urge? Wanted 22', bought 24' just to be sure and now I want more. Anyway, who makes a 26' and up fast deep v bowrider?

    Just purchased 240 sundeck. Can or should I leave carpet in or out? While towing rear carpet came unsnapped so I pulled it all up put in compartment and kept going. First, pros and cons of carpet? Can I tow with bow door closed, would this help? Really don"t care to cover up to travel 30...

    Knowing what a boat's value is

    Best way to know what a boat is worth? Have been looking at boat trader and others on boats of interest, are these asking prices close to selling prices? How much will a new boat depreciate in 1, 2, 3 years or so?

    Looking at 240 sundeck, 05 06 year model. How do these boats handle? Would the 5.0 Merc be enough engine? Any comments appreciated.
