    MERC 115 I6 HELP! UPDATE, diagrams found--> I will share the links

    Does anyone have a diagram for a 74 merc. 115 I6, main plug to harness? Also one for a 86 mariner 90 I6? I plan on doing the harness swap this sunday and could use any help I can get. I figure it has a power, ground, ing. wire, and a charging wire. Am I on the rite path? Nick

    I will be using this motor on my 86 mariner lower unit. I think this motor is a 74. I cant wait to get it swaped and running. I will be posting the boat and trailor for sale soon. Its a 1974 glasstron V173 in fair cond.. :) :eek:

    is a 76 merc. 115 inline 6 parts comparable w/86 mariner 90 inline 6???

    Im looking to buy a 76 merc. 115 w/ a bad lower unit. I have a 86 90 w/ a good low end. Will these parts interchange. What other parts if any will I be able to use? From the picture of it, it looks very similar to my 86 motor. Let me know any info please. Thanks, Nick
