    how to build jump seats?

    anybody have any suggestions on how to build a pair of jump seats? I have an 87 Thompson and the far back "jump" seats have been removed.... Just curious if anyone has built there own or just boughten them, as I've seen around $180-$200/ea.

    I have an 87 inline4cyl 3.7L 165Hp mercruiser with a sealed system. I was told that if I lowered front end of boat on trailer I could just take off the end cap no the heat exchanger and drain the raw water that way instead of using the drain bolts......     just recieved my alt. conv. kit

    just got my alt. conv. kit and i took off my harmonic balancer and removed the stator like it said to do. My ques. is when i removed the h.balancer and stator all the magnets were on the stator, do i need to take these magnets and put them back on the h.balancer or can i put the balancer back on...

    broken skeg

    i bought an 87 thompson with a 3.0L Mercruiser 4cyl sterndrive and it has a piece missing off the skeg from maybe hitting bottom at sometime in shallow water. I was wondering is there a concern or does it need to be replaced or just go ahead and drive it??
