    Painting aluminum hull

    Yamaha 40 4s verses 50hp 2s?

    I may change to a yamaha 50hp 2 stroke. I am running a 40hp 4 stroke now. I have rear seat stick steering on my tunnel hull boat 16'. How much louder will the 2 stroke be than the 4 stroke? Will there be a great deal of difference in gas mileage?

    Tohatsu and saltwater

    I am leaning heavily towards getting a Tohatsu 50hp. I fish 80% saltwater flats, and have read that some are having corrosion problems with the tohatsu around salt. Anybody got experience with this?

    Yamaha 4 strokes not to idle?

    I know someone who has a 115 4s Yammy and he says he almost ruined this motor because he idles about 50% of the time. He fishes some rocky flats in N Fla gulf. I thought the 4 strokes were tailor made for idling??
