    Top plugs fouling after 45 minutes.

    Can this be fixed ?

    I lost the upper bearing on my 98 Fitch 150. After tearing the engine down, I found that the block and crankcase cover were damaged due to the outer bearing sleeve spinning inside the motor. The damage isn't severe and I smoothed out the areas with emery cloth, but I think after the re-build...

    98 Fitch 150 Spark Plug Indexing

    Ok all, I have a 98 150 Fitch without the upgrades and standard heads (no Pins). I just got the motor up after rebuilding the thing all summer. I'm using Champion 7712 plugs and I currently have the open end of the J-plug indexed toward the fuel injector. Is this correct???
