    ok changed the impeller. (piece of cake) took out the vent and filler screws and what i thought was the drain screw, but was the screw that holds the shift fork in place. well took down lower unit and after fighting it alllllllll day i got it. ( wooooo hooooo!!!!!!!!) put it back and fired it...

    metal shavings under flywheel.. i found it

    well i took the flywheel off my 88 force 125 hp motor this morning to see why there were metal shavings comming out from under it and the last person did not tighten all the screws that hold down the stator.. one backed out and was digging into the bottom of the flywheel.. i tightened them all...

    i dont think this is good...

    today i was showing my cousin my 1988 bayliner capri br 1900 w/125 hp force outboard. took cover off motor while trying to start it and saw metal shavings comming from under the flywheel. the other owner said he had the stator under the flywheel replaced. why would there be metal shavings...

    vin # on escort trailer

    i was wondering where they hide the vin # on an escort trailer.. cant read anything on the tag for year, model, make, serial #, vin#.. its all worn off. there is a plate on the tongue that has {m vin with a number } but thats not a good # . any where else i could look? thanks.

    bigger speakers

    i have a 1988 bayliner capri 1900 w/ 125 hp force outboard. there are 2 - 4" speakers one under each rear seat in the back of the boat. is it ok to cut the holes bigger to put 6x9's in their place?

    replacing speakers with bigger ones

    i have a 1988 bayliner capri 1900 br and was wondering if i could take out the 4" speakers in the 2 rear seats and cut the hole bigger for 2 6x9s. also i want to put speakers in the sides of the drivers and passenger seats is it ok to cut all of these holes. thanks
