    I have a 1976 evinrude 115. Took off carbs today and gonna soak them even though the look fine. My question is that in my kit there are two roun cap type looking things what are they??Where do they go. Is there some type of plug that comes out and is in important to change?????

    marine tec on heads.

    I used some marine tec or tex what ever it is..On my block on the head. I dinged it with a hammer right on the sealing ring so ill let yall know how it works.

    unsiezing success

    After unsiezing an engine do most seem to perform well?? What are the chances of messing up the cylinder walls and pistons with the crud that is in there?? Is there any way to help flus this crud out before starting??

    115 head problem????

    Poured some oil into all cylinders, to try and help unfreeze them, the oil i poured into the top left cylinder came straight through the foot. the other three did not do this. What may cause that to happen????? This is a 1977 evinrude

    Im getting a boat that has not run for 6 years and the motor is froze up. I have been told pull the plugs a load the ports up with marvel mystrey oil or transmission fulid.     Enging froze up???

    I am looking at buying a Boat that has and evinrude 115 outboard, It has been sitting up for about 6 years. The motor will not spin using the pull cord or by starter. What should I check??
