    Rub Rail

    I have a 1984 skeeter ss1 fisherman and the rub rail is falling off. I was wondering how easy it is to access the screws behind the rubber stripping to remove the rub rail and then whether you can easily replace the rubber stripping. thanks.

    battery connection

    I just purchased a boat and looking at the battery connections, there seems to be a wire that connects the positive terminal on one battery to the negative terminal on the second battery. Iam wondering if this is normal or weather there has been an error hooking up the batteries.

    I am wondering if it is possible to put an alternator on an engine between 9.9 and 25 horesepower, so that batteries can be charged while on the water. If it is possible, how much would it cost to buy the alternator, and then have it installed, and/or install it myself? If anyone has done this...
