    94 50hp Wont trim up.

    I can trim the motor down fine, but I cant tirm it up. it sounds like a relay is working when i push the button but i get nothing for the trim motor. Motor and pump works fine in going down. Do i have a faluty trim button or a bad relay/solenoid.

    pulse limiter cleaning / VRO pressure

    Got a vro Not pumping fuel. Hooked it up to a air supply and pumps fine at about 5psi. Is this normal. I wonder is there a restriction in the pulse limiter. I changed the line to the crankcase but no change. How should I clean the pulse limiter.

    solenoid question

    Put a starter and a solenoid on my 1994 50 johnson. Have a red wire left over, I am assuming it is for the charging system, because it heavier than the normal 14 gauge wire but not the main starter wire. starter turns over, trim works. Any ideas were this wire goes?
