    After doing some research on marine ECMs it seems that if the fuel pumps works then the ECM is good. Will be a few days yet before I receive the led with a resistor.

    Thank you for that information. I was hoping it was not the ECM as I can not find new ones and good used ones are expensive. I will do what you suggest. It will be a little while to obtain a 12 volt resistor type LED.

    The kill switch was bypassed basically in early testing. Engine turns over nicely. I have already tried disconnecting the tach.
