    looking 4 sterring cable

    1976 85hp johnson (throttle cable djustment)

    hi i was wondering if anyone could help,ihave a 1976 johnson 85hp motor,and i recently changed the control box and up graded with neww ignition,now the throttle cables r all out of whack..and also the warm up cable....does any1 have a clue on how to adjust them .....a a diagram or walk me thru...

    Replaced power pack now motor starts wont shut off

    hi just replaced,power pack motor started but now wont shut off,i have 1976 johnson 85hp,,,,i tried everything from upgrading to a 6 pole ignition with the push choke method elimanated the old toggle choke,i have no clue whats going on the new ignition doesnt have a lanyard or any other type of...

    :confused:::would you happen to no how to hook up the ignition with a m m b s c.. i no purple goes to a/prple /white goes to choke/red purple to b/now i have that blak /yellow i think goes to the high m/then i have a solid black wire i think goes to the other m/a black ground on the control case...
