    8hp or 6hp

    My 4hp on my old 12ft tinnie recently died.<br />The maximum Hp is 6. Would it be safe for me (considering that the 6 and 8hp engines are the same size) fit an 8hp instead of the 6?<br /><br />Any suggestions would be much appreciated? <br /><br />Thank you

    6hp Vs 8hp

    The Max recomended Hp for my 10ft Dehavilland is 6hp. Would a 6hp be able to push the boat to 15 Knots with 2 people on board or would i need to buy an 8? Also could i put an 8hp power on a boat thats max hp is only 6?<br />Thankyou

    Alluminium Repairs

    My 11ft Dehaviland is leaking at the rear of my boat. It will take in about 3litres of water a day. The problem is actually were the base connects to the rear will it be ok if a just spray it with a Leak Sealer or do i have to weld it. Also would soldering be substsantion?<br />Thankyou :confused:

    My 4hp Johnson Seahorse does not run

    I recently recieved a 4hp Johnson motor. I dont Know anything about its history or how old it is. I tried to start it,It starts but cuts out after 5 minutes. What is its problem? Can someone give me som tips on maintence. <br />Thank you :p
