    Manually acutating Trim pump up/down

    Mercruiser 165 * My trim is fully turned up, and I need to pull my drive unit tonight and wondered if anyone has a picture of how to short out the pump to get it trimmed down? My Service manual is in the way and the online one I found via Dons link here isn't clear to me.. THANKS in Advance...

    What Mercruiser do I have?

    I just bought a 73 starcraft witha mercruiser 165 in it. I'm looking to buy my service manuals but not sure what to buy. Is there a serial number somwheres out on teh outdrive to tell me if it's MC1 MC3 etc etc??? Thanks in Advance!

    1973 Starcraft Chieftain owner.. SKEWWWWWIE!

    Well, well... here we are.... I picked myself up a big bad chieftain over the weekend.... KAA BAM! It's in rough shape cosmetically as well as the floor and transom. But to my newbie eyes the hull is super smooth and nice... just yuck paint.. Found it out on CL awhile back and found time...

    Has anyone thought or priced out what it would cost to do the floor in aluminum? I've seen a few projects on here but it looks like everyone uses plywood... Just wondering with all that added cost of epoxy and what not if it's closer to even than folks might think? I know there is a metal...
