    Need help finding...

    A float lever... I broke one of mine this weekend adjusting the float, it just snapped in half... 70hp Merc. 3 cyl., seriel # 6174250...outboard. Does a marina or parts dealer usually carry these? Thanks for all the help...

    83 Merc 70hp, idling then slips out of gear

    Got a 83 merc 70hp and it will idle fine and go into the forward gear then as soon as i give it some more throttle it will slip out of gear and rev up...:eek: any help is greatly appreciated ;)
