    what is diff between a 9 amp stator and a 16 amp stator? meaning, why couldnt you use a 9 amp stator in lieu of a 16 amp stator? is it because of more elect components on one engine versus the other? thanks for info n advance. im just trying to understand the diff :confused:

    teleflex tach settings for mercury 150 xr2

    the way im reading everything so far is my pole setting should be set on 6p,correct? i have a 1986 150 xr2 with a 23 pitch prop and my tach reaads between 5400 -6000 rpms , depending on the trim adjustment. there is several adjustments on the back , but want to make sure its set right.
