    87 omc 305 WOT RPM range

    Just curious on what the range for WOT on this engine is? And how do I know if I'm over revving it by trimming to far up? Its a 305 punched out 30 over in a 87 chris craft 21ft cuddy with a 14.5x19 SS prop. And would changing to a 21 give me more top speed?

    omc cobra outdrive gaskets come with 2 mystery o rings

    So i got these 2 o rings that came with the gasket set and I'm not quite sure what these used for? All I used was the gasket a this other rubber ring not circular but i thinkit sits around the water outlet. Any idea what these 2 o-rings are for? Thanks

    Wont rev in neutral

    So fired up the boat with the muffs on and it runs great and engages both forward and reverse noproblem. Problem I am having is I tried to rev it up in neutral by holding this red switch on the shifter and it just engages into gear. Any ideas? Its OMC Cobra on a 87 chris craft
