    Shrinkwrap, tarp or, custom cover?

    I live in CT. and have to winterize my 34' Luhrs. I am trying to decide if I want to shrinkwrap the boat ($600), have a custom plastic cover made ($3000) or, simply wrap her with a large plastic pool tarp ($250). I'd like to know what others do and why. Thanks Nightstalker

    How to make a towing bridal for SB 310

    I need to make/buy a towing bridal for my SB 310 inflatable. I'd tow her at moderate speeds (15 knots or so). I can remove the gas tank easily but the 8 HP outboard would be difficult. Can I rig or buy a bridal that would safely tow the dinghy and motor? Nightstalker

    1990 Luhrs MY-What is this valve

    I have a 1990 Luhrs 34' MY. Near the salt water washdown spigot on the aft deck is a second female spigot with a push/pull switch. I'm thinking it may be some type of fresh water washdown. Does anyone know what this is for and how it works? Thanks, Nightstalker

    Should I use anti fouling bottom paint?

    I keep my SB 310 in the salt water moored behind my vessel. Some guys use anti fouling bottom paint on their inflatables, others don't. Mine is difficult to pull and wash down regularly. Should I use bottom paint and if so, what type? Nightstalker

    1995, 8 HP Mariner, starting rope won't engage

    More and more often, the pull to start cord will not engage. It just pulls with no resistance because it's not catching the fly wheel. Once in a while it does engage and she fires right up. What do I check? Is this an easy fix? Nightstalker
