I have 2 lower units one is off a 77 85hp. and the other from a 78 85hp. I've dry fitted the 78 to my 77 and everything looks like it would bolt up perfect. Was wondering if the ratios are the same or different? And are they interchangeable?
I removed the vernatherm housing and guts to clean it. My problem is that the only way i see to put it all back together is to pull the powerhead and cowling so you can get it in. I got the housing on but i couldn't get it to go on with parts in it. The cowling is in the way. Anyone have any...
I have a 0318374 D4 fuel pump on my 85. It uses three mounting screws. top and 2 bottom. I cant fine references to my part number everything brins up a 2 bolt mount. My Seloc book says it should be 2 screw as does everyone else. 0438559 is what everyone says replaces it. Ok not trying to...
