I have a 1984 o 83 35 hp Johnson its leaking from around the prop I replace the big o ring a few years back and it still leak a little, am I missing any other seals? I look on I boats parts their appears to be some more seals I think, any help I will appreciate it thanks
1989 force 85 hp coming out of the telltale it was 110 degrees coming out of the 2 holes in the back was 90 degrees. today it was 90 degrees outside if that matters. thanks

ok 89 force it chokes ,it starts, it just wont choke and start at the same time, if I choke it (push in) and turn the key nothing but if I turn the key with out chokeing it she cranks, so you think it a bad ignition switch? thanks
1983 johnson 35hp I was just above idle speed and it stop running on me , it started right back up then it wanted to quit on me again, so I choke it a little bit and it ran beautiful, so what could it be? thanks russ...
on my fishfinder it shows the voltage also and it shows like 13.8 to 14 volts. its a 89, 85 force, is the voltage right? or too much? thats when its running.
when i strip back about a half inck of wire to soder how do i clean the wire first? the wire is black I hit it up a little with sandpaper and some came clean but not good enough to get the soder to flow.
ok should my hub be up tight against the axel to keep the grease seal from slipping out ? or do i need new grease seals? as you can see in the picture its coming out I replace them 3 weeks ago and these are the rubber ones. should i use the ones with the metal on the outside for a tighter fit...
i saw this prop on e bay looks the same as one i could use same size, 10x13 yamaha 14 spline i think the numbers on it is 386933 i have a 83 johnson 35 hp 10x13 14 spline on it now, are they the same prop? thanks russ
ok 83 johnson 35 hp can i just replace the impeller or do i need the whole kit? i just put a whole waterpump kit on 1 or 2 years ago. just seeing if i can get away with the impeller. thanks russ
ok its a 1983 johnson 35 hp . what came off of it was a 10x13 the boat store sold me a 10.3x13 is it the same? it looks a little close to the skeg. thanks
ok 83 johnson 35 hp new water pump last summer the water is spitting out ok just seems really hot almost to hot to hold my hand under it, is this too hot??
its a model 625 i was hoping for an easy swap no new holes also i hope it has the switch that makes it go up and down, seems thats also a hard switch to find. thanks...
