    Ignition System swap newer 70hp to older 75hp

    It's an old timers boat. He had a used power pack installed, didn't last long. He had a new power pack put on by the same shop and same outcome. I did an ohms test on the stator and timer, both test bad. Timer shorted to ground.

    Yes I have, some get more than others. I haven't let it run very long the couple times I did the water spit out and was screaming hot.
