    85hp Gearcase - shift pin seal

    I've taken the lower unit off to track down a leak into the oil contianer and I found a tear in the shift pin seal. Can anyone tell me wear I could find this piece at a resonable price. So far I've found it priced for about $120.00. Which I feel is a rip off for a piece of rubber.

    Starter Problem

    I took my starter off my Force 85HP motor to clean it out. When I put everything back together the teeth no longer jump up to engage the flywheel. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

    85 Force starting problem. Help please!!

    I'm bring an 85 HP force engine back to life. My Carbs are good and clean, but I can not get the motor to kick over. My starter was is an orginal (8/1988), but the brushes and springs are a little warn. Should I look at rebuilding the starter or replace the Starter all together?

    85hp Force with leak.

    I'm bringing my boat back to life and today I noticed fuel leaking from the carbs. I did, however, use carb cleaner on the carbs yesterday. Is this a sign that my carburators must be cleaned and rebuilt?
