    How to change impeller on my Johnson outboard

    Im not sure what year it is but Im sure its a late 70's early 80's Johnson outboard....I need to replace the impeller and I need some help...Do I pu it in revearse,forward or what before I take lower off...I have been told all kinds of things....PLEASE HELP!!!!

    1987 21ft Wellcraft shifting problems/Please help

    My boat has a alpha 1 out drive and a chevy 305 engine... She will shift in to forword but no reverse,doesnt even click in reverse... I can drop the lower and it will shift forward and reverse but not with cable...

    1987 mercruiser no reverse

    I just purchased a 1987 wellcraft with a mercruiser alpha one with a 305 engine. I had to build a new motor before I could try it out.It goes in to forward fine but nothing in reverse.Doesn't even try to go in reverse.Seller said lower was recently redone. Any help would be great...
