    87' evinrude 25 hp electric start stator coils

    Anyone know which part i need from iboats to replace the stator coils in this motor. The only part i see on there for this HP and year is a single coil with 2 wires... i need 2 coils, 1 with 2 wires and another with 1 wire. These wires go to the rectifier.

    i have a 25hp electric start evinrude that stopped starting on me. The starter motor pops up but just doesnt have enough juice to turn the motor over. Im only getting 12.07 volts on the battery when the motor is running. Anyone know where the alternator is on these motors or how to test it?

    I took the foot off my 25hp evinrude to rebuild the water pump and now i want to change the oil in the LU. Anyone know how much goes in there? its an 87 e25euca or e25ecua.

    Can't get the foot off of my 25HP evinrude

    I am trying to get the foot off the motor to rebuild the water pump. All the fixing bolts are off and its dropped down about half an inch. Any trick to getting leverage to pull it off? its very awkward to pull on with level force.

    My 87 electric start 25hp evinrude still wont start. I just installed the carb rebuild kit with new needle and seat and i adjusted the float. It still does the same thing its been doing for 3 weeks. It shutters and puts out white smoke and now it backfires a lot and the plugs are wet every time...

    i have an electric start evinrude that wont start. Im getting ignition and the motor shutters and puts out smoke but it wont start. Has plenty of spark and its getting fuel. could it be a timing problem? it was just runnin 2 weeks ago and now this.

    smoking but not starting

    I have an 87 evinrude 25hp. i just ran 2 weeks ago. now it will kick like its trying to start and i will get white smoke but it wont start. Its got some wierd looking spark plugs in it (autolite) i think they might be the problem.

    1960 sportwin 10 power head removal

    i have all the bolts un-done and the power head has lifted about 8mm and now its stuck. is there something in the lower unit that needs to be disconnected? its a model 10020.

    how do i get the lower motor cowling off my sportwin 10?

    I am trying to get the lower fiberglass motor casing off my sportwin 10. i got the flat head bolts out of the outside bottom (had to weld 2 of them out) and it looks like there is 3 nuts on the inside but 2 are impossible to get to.

    1960 evinrude sportwin 10hp shutting down after 10 minutes.

    I just go this motor from my father-in-law. it hasnt run in years but he said when it was running it would run great for 10 minutes then it would bog and die. to me it sounds like a fuel filter problem but i am seeing a lot about the impeller replacement... could it be overheating?
