    i have a broken line rubber that goes to my airbox.i cant find it anywhere.does anyone know what its called. its on a 70hp johnson 1989 vro.its hooked behind the bottom carb.wgich is 1/4 inch fitting and on the air box it looks like a 3/8

    i just bought a lowe 170 with a 70 hp johnson. the prop is dinged up.i was wanting to make sure the 17 p. prop is the right prop before i order a new one.

    pitch question???

    ok im gonna change the prop on my boat its a 17.5 bass tracker with a 45 hp merc,its very slow to get on plane.to speed is about 25mph,but rpms is about 5000.so heres my question it has a 10 3/8 x13 p should i go to a 11 pitch or 15 pitch?im trying to get it to 5500 rpms and want it to take off...

    88 mercury classic 50 45 hp engine is hard to start

    everytime i start the motor i have to pull the fast idle all the way up and crank on it it several times before it will start up anyone have a clue what the problem maybe?

    need more take off power

    ok i got a 1993 mariah diablo with a 3.0 4 cylinder i/o it runs good about 4000 rpms at wot. the problem is it takes forever to get there, once you slow down or stop.im running a 3 blade 14 1/4 19 pitch prop.should i change the prop? or will trim tabs help? it has a sting ray thing on it now.

    whats the difference the props im looking at are a 10 3/8 and a 11 1/2 11 pitch for my 45hp mercury 50 classic also will a ss prop give you anymore speed

    50 merc classic 45 hp

    i bought a 89 basstracker v17 with a merc classic 50 it runs good, but only runs about 22mph with only me in it.seems a little slow it has a 10 3/8 x13 p prop and runs about 4800 rpms should i change the prop?
