    Re: starter will not go up and engage flywheel - 63 johnson Well my dad wanted to him and I told him the old wires wist out. And well he twisted the stop and not the bottom. Will this effect the spark adversely? You can clearly see the one that was twisted on. :facepalm:

Im assuming this is the starter, and it wont go up to engage the fly wheel there for it wont start. :facepalm: I'm so close to get this thing back on the water. haha I got it last fall and it hadnt been ran...
