    Ebay has all sorts of adapters out there. I can vouch for the aftermarket Dewalt batteries - I have several and they work just fine in my Dewalt tools.

    This is a 5.0L 270HP FI Volvo? If so...I'd be double checking that fuel pump. I say that as mine went in the Four Winns - same engine. The cost of the pump alone, from Volvo was $1k. This is one area I would not cheap out on. The cost of the Amazon unit makes me pause.

    If you think between the rivets you've replaced and this coat that you have the leaking licked, I'd be tempted to skip a second coat. That's just me though...no experience one way or the other.

    There's one true way to find out if the transom is wet...disassemble. Those bolt holes will be very telling given the size.

    I wouldn't. I like being able to steer with the outdrive in N. You lose all steering when you stop powering a jet. But that's just me...and watching a few youtube videos of Black Point Marina. Long live Fred :)
