I have a Johnson 115 V4 - I was told it was an 84 - the motor has a sticker that says use champion UL77V plugs which corresponds to an '85 from the spark plug lists I looked at.

I recently purchased a skeeter bass boat with an 84 Johnson 115 V4 VRO on it. First time out it ran great. Yesterday, put it in, it ran great for a bit then would not rev out under full throttle. Put it in nuetral you could rev it out. In forward it felt like there was a load or restriction...
