    1989 mariner 75hp 3cyl shift coupling

    in my haste to have my lower unit rebuilt (which i have done), i have misplaced the coupling that links the lower unit shift rod to the rod coming from the power end. the diagrams on the websites don't show this part. or i'm not understanding it. can someone give me some guidance. thank you.

    I'm looking at some reman lower units to replace mine on 1989 75 hp 3 cyl mariner. its asking if I have a 3 jaw or 6 jaw lower unit (i think they meant the clutch). how do I tell the difference? hope this isn't to stupid of a question. thanks.
