    i didn’t take the engine side part yet but Everything i Pat the engine side looks ok; however, I didn’t take it apart. I was assuming (I know don’t assume) I’d loosen the nut on that side engine when I was ready to pull the old cable out. Do I need a new tail piece as well?

    I’m talking about the steering box. With that in mind, I would remove the two bolts hold the top jacket and not worry about the bottom jacket? do I understand that correctly. I do appreciate the help.

    The 1 1/2” is too smal. It fits inside the exiting threaded filler tube. I simply measured the cap that does fit but I am struggling to fit a replacement

    Unfortunately the chain broke on my gas cap and it is now lost. I am having a hard time finding a replacement that fits. The threads are roughly 1 3/4” across. I see lots of 1 1/2” but cannot find anything larger. does any one have any ideas on where I can go?
