The plastic pads don’t scratch the hull? Why not pressure treated with aluminum? Thank you!

Has anyone replaced the windshield on their boat?

I'll reach out to them. Admittedly on the SS I'm being a bit picky. It's a low rise windshield that doesn't do much to block the wind and almost nothing at all to see through LOL.

Has anyone replaced the windshield on their boat?

My 4 Winns H190 SS windshield glass is okay, but it's started to get crazed. Just wondering what I can do about it in the future. I've looked online but not seen much.

    Four Winns H190 Trailer bunks

My bunks need to be at least recarpeted, but maybe replaced. As they seem to hold a TON of the boats 2800lbs, is there a way to be sure I can get something that won't break? Most seem like they are just 'Wooden carpeted bunks' for like $150. But they don't seem to have a weight range. Can you...

Can you add a wake board tower?

That’s probably beyond my skillset. Maybe a good boat mechanic can do it.

Can you add a wake board tower?

My kids are getting older and going from tubing to wake boarding. I’d kind of like a tower for the higher pull point as well as board storage. But my boat didn’t come with one. Can they be added (professionally) or does a boat have to be built for them? I have a ‘16 Four Winns H190 SS

    Smart tabs.

I move them semi frequently. It does make a difference

Running new wire to led speakers.

I ended up with a clean looking kluge. At least for now. I want aft and wired them to a switch right by the engine. It’s workable. I’d prefer to have them on the helm, and might one day, but this gets me the functionality.

Running new wire to led speakers.

Ugh. So that sounds like drilling. That doesn’t compromise the integrity of the boat does it? These things seem like monocoque structures

Replacement speakers for a 2016 Four Winns H190 SS.

Turns out after some jimmying they were just jammed on there.

Running new wire to led speakers.

I have a '`16 Four Winns H190. The speakers were all blown (it came with car stereo speakers, so it honestly looks like they just were damaged by the sun). I am replacing them with kicker marine speakers. I'd like to hook up two of them with LED's. The wiring is fairly simple... I thought maybe...

Replacement speakers for a 2016 Four Winns H190 SS.

I have 4 speakers, two in the boat and two firing out the back by the built in chairs. Has anyone replaced speakers in this boat and know the depth/size needed?

How do I clean bumper marks on fiberglass hull

The lake is low this year, and I can't seem to get the bumpers high enough. The boat has been bumping into the doc mounted bumpers but they have left a white residue on the hull. I'm new to fiberglass and gelcoat. Any suggestion on cleaners that won't damage the hull?

What kind of trolling motor for a 16 Sylvan Sport Select?

The Hull is around 800lbs and it has a 112 SPL Johnson. I'm looking for something I can troll with/get home on a small lake if the engine fails. It's set up for one, but it's a '95 so I'm not sure that the plugs are still valid.

    Four Winns hull strength

I haven't moored my boat in years. I used to use a screw in mooring at a road end maybe 20 years ago and loved that for the convenience, but it was only on weekends and just required a snubber on the chain to not break away even in heavy waves. So, yes, my lake sounds like it is *way* calmer...

    Four Winns hull strength

I do struggle with that. From a technical perspective they are neat boats. And I don't want to hinder people from boating or water sports. But their wakes are huge, and the Loons are just really starting to come back on our lake. Their nesting habitats are dependent on some wave free areas.

    Four Winns hull strength

That's absolutely true. The guy who loved to drive his Sylvan like a 4 person Jet Ski in the 90's is now 50.... ;-) I'm almost always on interior lakes, teaching my son how to drive and the rules of the road. One day he'll drive on his own, and he'll be rougher than I will, but he also knows...

    Are plastic props junk?

I generally go against the line here, but here goes: On my '95 Sylvan with a 112 SPL Johnson I ran a ComProp for years. It was a plastic composite 4 blad 17" pitch. I'd hit about 40 WOT and was able to tube all my buddies in college with no issues. I had a prop strike once and it took a chunk...

    Four Winns hull strength

I appreciate it. So far all summer I've not had much water in the boat at all, even on the 'rough' (it sounds like you deal with much rougher water than I'm comfortable with) days I rarely get water in the boat. I do get some water in the ski locker and in the bilge after a full day of water...
