    Shift Lever Question

    My 1961 Evinrude Fastwin 18 slipped and fell over landing on the shifting lever/arm. Being pot metal it didn't have a chance. My question is Do I need to remove the power head to replace the shifting arm. This is on A Model 15034 1961 Evinrude Fastwin 18. Any and all help is appreciated. Eric.

    Flooring Material question

    Major possibility it's Coosa Board. A fiberglass reinforced polymer material. Does not rot, lighter than wood, lasts forever. However the down side is cost. If that's not a concern, check them out. Coolant Fiber Board.

    Hey everyone, I have a 1973 65hp "Triumph" outboard that the previous owner took of a new to him pontoon boat prior to selling this Ebbtide 160 tri V to me. It did not have trim and tilt on it. My question is can a trim and tilt unit be added to this motor. I really don't want to put a jackplate...

    Lower Unit Conversion on a 1973 Evinrude 65hp.

    I am not going to argue about what year was the last year of what, but everything I have found on ID-ing this motor says it's an Evinrude 65hp Triumph outboard produced in 1973. Designed for saltwater use. model number 65373R...and that came from right here on iboats when looking it up...just sayin'
