    Don't want to overthink this but need to clean and relube steering cable on the Bayliner. The big question is; do I need to remove it? Guessing yes, as removing the old and tacky grease would need to thin it first. My other question is; would this light penetrating grease do the trick?

    1989 Bayliner 2.3L engine stalls and will not stay running

    Had this issue. Turned out 2 of 4 ventry ports on the Rochester carb were blocked. Ran great while going but wouldn't idle properly. Used torch files with a cleaner to unblock ports and worked like a charm. Hope it works out for you.

Sierra has zero availability and Napa can get points, condenser through Blue Streak but said for cap and rotor would have to go automotive (Pinto, Ranger) to match up with the Mallory distributor...     Thanks for your feedback Kenny. To re-cap, if the mark lines up with '0' on the timing gear cover am I in the power stroke or could I be in the exhaust stroke?

    I understand the firing order for the engine is 1342 and have seen many google images showing plug wire #1 at various points on the cap (2 o'clock, 7 o'clock, 4 o'clock) so which is correct? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
