We toured it a year or two ago. Definitely worth visiting.

    Cruising RPM’s

If that is the case and the OP actually gets 3600 at WOT, I wouldn’t run more than the 2900-3000 range.

    Cruising RPM’s

Ok, what does the engine manual list as the engines wide open throttle (WOT) suggested RPM’s? What WOT RPM are you actually getting? How fast is your boat going at WOT?

Mercruiser 5.0L MPI Not Starting, I was driving the boat at a slow pace and it slowly stalled/stopped

I used to have a boat with a Merc 5.0 and was having starting, idling issues. Replaced the idle control valve and all was good. About a $40 part. Check it out on YouTube videos.

I hear you, but only suggesting this in case there is an issue with the T-stat itself

Need some help just bought 96 chris craft

Ok, since we don’t know your location, FYI, there’s a good possibility you live in a state that requires all boaters to take and pass a boater safety course. Even if your state doesn’t require it, still a good idea to take it.

Medium to heavy drinkers, absolutely get the cruise package. Light to no drinks, no. I think the only other perks are free wi-fi and tips included. You will come out ahead paying for those separately.

Agree they are not for everyone, but just maybe you took the wrong cruises. There is a wide variety of cruises available from small intimate ships, 200 or less to the mega ships with 6000+ passengers. The locations available are just as diverse, from the hot, sunny Caribbean to the frozen...

The train ride is really nice. Double decker train cars…top deck is a domed observation deck giving great views. Lower deck is the dining car where they serve very good hot meals…tablecloth, nice dinnerware, good service, the whole nine yards.

I would say, take the scenic train to Denali. When we did it, we lucked out and had beautiful weather, but we understand, we were in the minority. Most who go can’t see the mountain for the rain/clouds.

Yes it is an Alaska cruise, but at least one port has to be in Canada, either leaving from or arriving to Vancouver or Some small town in British Columbia. Also consider a number of Alaskan ports are dinky little towns with less than top notch medical facilities. Any serious medical issues...

Even a routine visit to the ship’s doctor will be paid for at time of service and it won’t be cheap. No mailed bill, no billing insurance, you whip out your credit card and pay on the spot and did I mention, it won’t be cheap. Save the paperwork and mail to your trip insurance carrier when you...

Pretty much agree with everything you said, but I’d like to add… We’ve taken excursions, both ship sponsored and non-ship sponsored. We’ve been on busses that some passengers booked themselves and some booked through the ship. Happens quite often, so if we are late, ship is waiting for...
