    Ive been brainstorming ideas and I’m wondering if my impeller were bad if this could cause the voltage regulator to burn up? I know that it is water cooled and if it wasn't pumping enough water to get to the regulator maybe that could be the cause to burning up 2 in such a short time.

    I've got it cleaned up pretty good now. That's kind of what I though could be going on by the looks of it when I pulled it. I could get the sensor out again and post a picture and see what you think. I hate to just buy parts without knowing for sure what's going on.

    Same fuel tank but after I drove down the road I did notice that where the hose connects to the fuel tank has a leak. While running at the house that was not like that. Going to try a different hose when I get one.

    I torqued the motor to 45 ft/lb as that is what I found in the manual. But it was cracked before I had ever put it back on. I can say with certainty that I didn’t try to start it with an impact but it could have happened before I bought it.
