    Best wood for Bunks!

    My trailer has rollers and 4 bunks at rear, the bunks are only 2.6inches long by 1inch in width, I would like to increase the length of them to spread load so intend to renew all the support hardware, what would be suitable wood considering here in Scotland UK.
