    I can't reach to put the wood strips in place for the screws to grab onto. Did yours have wood strips on inside?

    No rivets. Has screws that go the 2 layers and wood straps on the inside. Guess I may be able to drill new holes and try rivets

    Hi I have a 68 surftamer open bow tri haul. I need to replace the strip at the front of the seam but there's no way anyone under 50 lbs is gonna reach it. Can anyone help me out? Do I have to split whole boat to get at it?
