Our leach field is 40 years old. Been 20 years since I added new topsoil and re-leveled. Looks like a project to add some this year under the grass, to fill in the low spots. Our tanks, once every 10 years. Much higher capacity than my neighbors. The septic company can empty the second tank...

My wife laughed and then said, "You better not do that to your trailer!"... still on the lookout for some legs. 😈

I know what you mean. Lost an umbrella rig with three of my favorite swimmers and two weighted spoons a couple months ago. Snagged trolling on a tree about 25 feet down. We could see them pulled the boat backwards with the rod all the way to the tree. Couldn't get them to come loose for the...

I've still got quite the floppy selection, even windows 3.2, and 95 and NT, plus OS2 and Os2 Warp installs. About ready to ditch them. Old install CDs are next, for anything I no longer use. Or that I don't have an OS to run them on. The old supermac with a huge software set installed...

    Building a fishing boat.

@mr 88 your post prompted me to look at guage sets. Will plan in a 7 guage set for the dash we build. A lot of nice looking inexpensive sets out there with GPS speedometers..

    Building a fishing boat.

Thanks for the suggestion. The boat came without a dash or steering wheel. Looks like it was removed a long time ago. Have a wheel and linkage, throttle, wiring and switches for lighting, kill safety, etc that were in the boat we pulled the engine from. Planning for a couple of guages...

    Building a fishing boat.

Thank You, I appreciate the input. I actually have a Johnson 30, out of a 71 boat in my dad's shop a state away. It's the other option we have. I just need to get it here. Dad wants it gone, just need bring it back on my next trip up there. It's a lot heavier than the force in my garage...
